Art Fair Accessibility

The Saint Louis Art Fair presented by Emerson is committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming experience for all visitors. For guests with limited mobility, we offer complimentary golf cart tours to help navigate the festival site with ease. For individuals who are blind or visually impaired, we provide MindsEye Descriptive Audio Tours, along with a list of exhibiting artists in a format compatible with screen readers and dictation services. All three performance stages include accessible seating, and a site-wide bench map is available to help guests locate resting spots throughout the fair. These features are designed to support a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Accessible Parking Lot sponsored by Smith Moore
The Accessible Parking Lot is located at 103 N. Central Ave, at the corner of Maryland Avenue and Central Avenue. Look for the tent labeled “Accessible Parking.” This is the closest available parking to the art fair, with the nearest entrance located right at Central and Maryland.
Limited Mobility Golf Cart Tours sponsored by Smith Moore
The Saint Louis Art Fair presented by Emerson is proud to offer Limited Mobility Tours, sponsored by Smith Moore, providing an exclusive and accessible experience before the fair opens to the public. These tours, conducted on a comfortable golf cart, will guide participants across the art fair site, allowing them to see and engage with the artists and their work in a relaxed and accessible manner. This initiative ensures that everyone, regardless of mobility, can fully enjoy the vibrant creativity on display, making the art fair experience inclusive for all.

TOUR DATES & TIMES:

Saturday, September 6 at 9:00am. Tour will depart at approximately 9:15am and end at approximately 10am.

Sunday, September 7 at 10:15am. Tour will depart at approximately 10:30am and end at approximately 11am.

MEETING LOCATION FOR TOUR: Accessible Parking Lot located at 103 N. Central Ave (intersection of Maryland Ave and Central Ave.)

MindsEye Audio Descriptive Tours
Experience the art fair in a new way with MindsEye’s Audio Descriptive Tours, designed for attendees with visual disabilities. Tour guides will narrate and describe selected artworks to make the fair more accessible and engaging for all. MindsEye’s Audio Description Program helps ensure that art and culture are available to everyone. Tours are limited to 10 people and require advance registration. Please check in at the Information Booth located at the intersection of Forsyth Blvd. and Central Ave. at least 10 minutes before your tour begins.

Saturday, Sept. 6 | 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Bench Locations
The map linked below shows all informal seating locations throughout the art fair site, including benches and other areas where attendees can take a brief rest. These spots are spread across the festival footprint and offer convenient places to relax and recharge while enjoying the event.
Reserved Accessible Seating
The map linked below shows the locations of reserved accessible seating areas at the 3 stages. Each of the three performance stages will have designated seating to ensure guests with disabilities can enjoy the shows comfortably. These areas will include folding chairs reserved for those who need them and will be marked with blue tape on the ground and a handicap symbol on the chairs.
